James Kinney

James Kinney grew up on the boardwalk of Newport Beach. Every morning he would ride his beach cruiser to Newport Elementary School and a decade of surfing later, found himself at Newport Harbor Highschool. As the son of a custom home builder and top producing loan officer, James’ life-long connection with the orange county coast, its people, and their real estate make him an area specialist.  

 

James’ father, Brad Kinney, owner of Tuscany Construction, introduced him to real estate at an early age.  “My dad has been driving me to his job sites since I was 3 years old.  When I was 22, I joined his crew in between semesters at Berklee College of Music.  I absolutely loved working on luxury real estate and seeing a project get finished.  I also had the chance to meet many skilled contractors and investors.'' His mother, a top producing loan originator, mentored him to get dual licensed as an MLO and realtor.

When James is not selling real estate, he enjoys his time playing guitar on the beach with his girlfriend, friends, and family.
